Hello from the people behind Freshly Inked. It is our pleasure to bring to you the highlights of our trips to San Diego's International Comic Convention, better known as Comic Con. Each summer towards the end of July, thousands of people from across the globe flock to the Southern California city to experience the unveiling of movies, television shows, video games, books, comics and more. Celebrity meet-and-greets, volunteer services, costumes, and many a multitude of broadcasting agencies are only a fraction of what goes on behind the convention hall doors.
Writers, directors, producers, and actors attend group discussions called panels, where they speak about their upcoming projects, reveal official footage you can see nowhere else, and take questions from the audience. The showroom boasts thousands of booths selling merchandise, offering services, or allowing Con-goers the chance to join their elite groups, such as the famous Star Wars 501st group of Stormtroopers.
With hundreds of panels a day, thousands of booths to visit, and much time spent waiting in line for the embodiment of your obsession, Comic Con offers something for everyone, no matter their age.
Attending each summer with a growing group, we will bring you our experiences live via blogs, photos, and videos barring technological difficulties. If you want us to get some footage of the panel of your favorite show, buy you a cool souvenir, or have any suggestions on a cool booth to visit, shoot us a comment on our Contact page. Follow the blogs of each member of our group, and be sure to watch for any further video transmissions.
Comic Con will begin July 12th and run through July 15th, but we will be bringing you a Pre-Con Vlog on July 11th. The Comic Con Itinerary will be linked as soon as it is available.
